First and foremost, Jimmy is a family man who has been married to his wife, Gina, for 12 years. They have 2 children: Nicholas (11) and Estela (7). Little known fact, the name MYGEN is an acronym of My Gina Estela Nicholas. In his spare time he enjoys music, fly fishing, traveling with family, supporting KC sports teams, and talking about classic cars.

Jimmy was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas and attended Kansas State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the College of Business. After working his way up through the marketing ranks after college, it became clear that creating his own business and leading others was necessary.  MyGen Marketing was established in 2018 with the mission to help small businesses with the marketing they deserve and can afford. MyGen provides a level of service and quality that does not exist with big agencies. Jimmy’s vision is to build a legacy of excellence within the small business industry around the region and throughout the local community.

Jimmy has strong ties to the local community and his past and present board terms include many local non-profit organizations such as The American Red Cross and the Kansas City Kansas Visitors Association. In addition, he is a corporate partner of the Kansas City Kansas Chamber of Commerce.
